History's Royal Highnesses Cinderella: Princess

"It is hard for me to describe what I noticed first. Was it the forest of candles blazing magnificently overhead, or was it the crowds and crowds of people? Was it the magnificent garlands of autumnal greenery draped on the walls, or the red and yellow shimmery silk hangings over which they lay, hanging from ceiling to floor? Or perhaps it was not a sight that caught me first – perhaps it was the scent of roses perfuming the air, delicious, yet not overpowering – or aromas that I found even more welcoming – those of delicious freshly cooked meats, wafting through the air.....?"
Hello, my name is Ella. After my mother's death, I grew up with my father. However, he then married a woman who was simply awful, and she brought along with her her two dreadful daughters.
The palace threw a ball to celebrate the prince's birthday. When I heard that all ladies were invited, I knew I could not miss this opportunity to observe life inside the palace!
On getting there, I met a footman who seemed quite bold and somewhat lazy for a royal footman! However, I was to discover that there was more to him than I could ever have imagined...

About the Author

My full name is Oluwatosin Oreoluwa Ojumu.

I am a born again Christian writer, blogger and webdesigner. I write under a few different pen names, some of which are variations of my own name.

Under this name "Oluwatosin Ojumu", I write mainstream (non faith-based) contemplative poetry and literary fiction. My poetry is mostly inspired by nature, and art, and beauty, and themes of memory, imagination, time, consciousness and explorations of other abstract concepts. I am currently writing a range of "Études" or "Studies" based on some of these concepts.

My fiction is largely based on and inspired by existing classic works from great authors like George Eliot, Charles Dickens, Jane Eyre.

Under "Tosin Ojumu", (the shortened version of my first name) I write mostly Christian material. I am producing an open translation of the Bible (New Testament) called "The Open Bible". I also write articles about my opinions on various Church and Christian matters, and I maintain a blog about my expectations and hopes for Christian marriage called "Finding Mr Huggie-Wuggie". This is also the pen-name I use for other non-fiction, including opinion articles about issues unrelated to my faith.

Under my middle name "Ore Oluwa" I plan to publish works about creative arts and crafts - hopefully coming soon!

I also plan to publish a few works under completely anonymous pen-names....! ;)
