About the Author

Trevor Romain is an award-winning author, illustrator, and television host as well as a sought-after motivational speaker. He has been the keynote speaker at numerous education and mental health conferences and has appeared regularly on national and international media outlets. Trevor is the former president of the American Childhood Cancer Organization and is well known for his work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the United Nations, UNICEF, USO, and the Comfort Crew for Military Kids, which he co-founded. Trevor lives in Austin, Texas.

A wonderfully funny instructional book that kids will love while learning why homework is a worthwhile and valuable tool for success in school. The humorous style of writing and the hilarious comic graphics will have children laughing and wanting to read the whole book. The large caption on the first page draws the reader in with, “Do Not Read This!” and follows with, “You Peeked! Ha! Now I have your attention.” It then goes on to explain why kids need to do homework and the terrible excuses they use for not doing homework. The hints to get students through their homework are direct, short, and amusingly stated, each with an accompanying illustration.
