In From Earth to Oblivion: The Passing of Humankind, Dr. Ross E. Goodrich examines evidence that demonstrates why humankind cannot survive much longer on this planet.

Our population is growing, our living space is becoming insufficient, and our sources of supplies needed for life support are limited and rapidly vanishing. Our numbers have already grown so out of harmony with Earth's carrying capacity that our species is on the fast track to economic and social failure and a twenty-first century population crash.

Dr. Goodrich offers a frank discussion of the very nature of humans' expectation of survival despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary-our belief that we have the ingenuity or perhaps the exalted position in the eyes of Mother Nature or a Divine Creator to be the exception, the one species who will avoid the inevitable.
