Overview

Lisa's search for her identity began as a young boy. She discovers the difficulty of leading two lives, the one the world wants to see and the one she wants to live in. Two marriages leave behind two kids and two very different wives. After a particular difficult times with bosses and government officials. Lisa takes the first steps to find her true identity.
She finds that it takes a friend to support and be supported by to put a life together. Lisa finds a BFF in Paula and together they build a business.
Lisa is the consummate sales woman. She travels to Singapore, in search of business and discovers friendship. Also, discovering along the way the problems of being half and half.
Worn out Lisa takes off to Hawaii on a mission to find the secret. Once she finds the secret, she finds that the secret is quite messy. Her notebook helps guide Lisa along the path to finally winning the secret. Lisa discovers as you will discover, the discipline of keeping the notebook to help win the secret. In the midst of her mission, Lisa meets Dana, a played out player, they fall in love. This after all is a love story
Identity comes into play again. Dana, as a lesbian courts Lisa. Then time resets and repeats itself. This time Dana as a male is courting Lisa. The circumstances are the same but the differences of female-female and male-female courtship are explored, with the added dimension of a transsexual Lisa thrown in the mix. When time catches up with itself. You the reader are left to apply your own identity to Dana, female or male or both, through the hard times and family times ahead for the couple.

About the Author

I came into this world and was eventually christened as Robert Lee Jr. I was given a strong family female identity, by a family of strong women, well before my puberty.
My male and female identities existed together in a marriage of opportunity balanced by reality. I was at once male and female.
At fourteen, my female self insisted on a divorce. At home alone, experimenting with make-up, the lipstick and perfumes christened me Jane Bobbie Lee. The name came upon my soul, as if given as a sacrament by a priest.
Thus, I gained identity.
I have written since before I could remember. I am still finding little stories of mine written in a child’s hand.
An oil painting of a crying pirate I painted at eight still hangs on a wall in Columbus, Ohio home. As do many other oil painting, charcoals, ink, water color, silver neckless, and mixed media. All accomplished over the years.
My business life has lead me to years in the work of measuring the environment, and two associated patents.
I have traveled to all states and over sixty different countries. The places in my book are real places I’ve visited.
The pros associated with the sun are the result of many years watching the sun come and go from the deck of my boats.
