Impassioned: A Call to Spiritual Revolution

Christian spirituality is about process. Because it is a process, the journey of life...even for a "religious" person seems dull, boring, and often uneventful. Jesus believed and taught a way of life that displayed a genuine life change that was a result of a transformation of the heart. Impassioned is a call to spiritual revolution of the heart, a soul-awakening to arouse the passion within each of us who call ourselves disciples...apprentices of Jesus our master. The process held up by many well-intentioned Christian leaders and churches through the years has often been only one of going through the motions of decent morality, good behavior, and belief in God. The life of the vast majority of Christian people resembles very little of the way Jesus taught and challenged people in the land of Galilee two thousand years ago. For all the books written about finding purpose and meaning, few have touched on the immense difficulty of living impassioned lives for Jesus Christ. Few people seem to be living with any kind of motivation or passion to pursue the life they've been called to. Impassioned is primarily written to Christ-followers, to arouse the passion within each of us who call ourselves apprentices/disciples in the way of Jesus our master teacher for life. It is not simply a practical guide with tips on how to live an impassioned life. It is more a series of thoughts and ideas designed to assist you in discovering the process of living from your heart. A changed life flows from a changed heart. And a heart on fire is the goal. If this life is yours to do with as you please, then it should please you to do something with it that matters. Becoming passionate for your God ordained purpose and giving yourself permission to dream bigger is what Impassioned is all about. Join me for a journey into the soul.
