Life's tragic moments can definitely leave an enormous impact on someone's life, and giving up seems to be the best choice, but even the worst of times can be a stepping-stone toward something great. It's a matter of how you face your trials and apply it to whatever you do best in life and keep working on it. When you face your trials positively, blessings will surely come. It's not a matter of when, but it's the attitude itself that creates a bundle of joy around you. Being patient, determined, and willing are the keys to getting there, but life is also worthless without the power of faith. Believing in something bigger than yourself is your biggest ally in life, and it makes all the difference every single day, and don't ever be discouraged during the early disappointments, because it's part of the long process that'll eventually become your biggest success in life. Everything is based on comparison, and every demand from your trials can always be turned as your work ethic later on. It's the inspiration that was gained from the fight that'll motivate you to get better and better with whatever your passion is in life. Always be inspired in every trial you face, for these are stepping-stones for a higher purpose.

Juano Ocampo first grew up in the Philippines then moved to Los Angeles, California, permanently. As a young boy, he was stubborn, naughty, but loving and caring at the same time. His number passion is basketball. Since seven he started playing the game, and then the passion became permanent till now, but his life went upside down with an unfortunate diagnosis of pineal germinoma, a rare type of brain tumor that mostly grows on toddlers and kids. But unfortunately, it got him when he was eighteen. This experience was a long one. Not only was he diagnosed once, but he was diagnosed twice in back-to-back years 2008 and 2009 and finally ended during the early months of 2010. The fight was painful not only physically but also emotionally, especially his family, who were beside him during the process. He even gave up his passion during treatment for he thought that the tumor had permanently affected his game, but all that would change after going through two back-to-back diagnoses of a brain tumor. He realized that being diagnosed can also be a blessing for him, so he applied this two-year torment to his passion. He said, “Basketball isn’t even half of a fraction compared to a brain tumor, not once but twice,” and being motivated and driven more than ever, he decided to go back and work his skills. The first few months were disaster for everything resulted in disappointment for him, but he never gave up for he always remembered the quote that he said that basketball is a cakewalk compared to a brain tumor. This would eventually become his driving force of motivation in life, and applying it to his passion, there was nothing that was going to stop him. This powerful and motivating quote inspired him each and every day and resulted to his success.
