About the Author

Charles Webster Leadbeater (1854-1934), originally a clergyman with the Church of England, became an occult author and influential member of the mystic Theosophical Society, which also included suffragette Annie Besant. Later in life, he became a disciple of fourteen-year-old Jiddu Krishnamurti. His books include Vegetarianism and Occultism, Occult Chemistry, and The Hidden Side of Things.
