Because of global warming, it is another hot day in winter, and the Tardy Boys, Leyton and Wade, are forced to play hockey indoors. Penguins have taken over the School With No Name's ice rink, though, and Leyton, Wade, and their friends must figure out what the penguins want and how to help them. Meanwhile, they must defeat the nefarious scheme of their enemy, Fibby Mandible, to profit from the penguins. Wade's Chronic Unruly Hair Syndrome plays a role in the plot, as do school tryouts for the TV show "American Super Mega Idol Star Search." The jokes fly fast and thick in this wacky tale, and fans of the series will enjoy reading about the Tardy Boys' latest unlikely but highly entertaining adventure.
