I have always believed in the ability of our young people. The future depends upon them. They are the future of mankind.

Unfortunately, we have not always provided them the best. The parents are too involved in fulfilling the needs of life. Our education system leaves much to be desired. Adult life presents a picture of double standards.

Faced with this scenario, the young people are confused to find solutions to their problems. Many cannot communicate freely with the parents. Even when the parents are knowledgeable, they are at a loss to talk freely with their children. An informal teacher-student relationship is rare. Friends at school and college may be sailing in the same boat. Yet, the only solution lies in sharing problems and experiences with them. The knowledge that is shared may not be completely authentic or complete. It is of mutual interest. It is the best that is available.

To provide answers to the many questions that bother young people as they grow up, useful information is compiled in a compact form in this book. A variety of subjects are discussed. They range from the problems of growing up to learning to be better individuals and preparing to settle to marry and have a home of their own. Not all the subjects may be of immediate interest to all young people. As they grow up, and face newer problems, they can confidently look forward to find the right answers.
