What People are Saying About This

From the Publisher

"The 'inside story' tag is no idle boast, author Mike Moreton having been the XJ220 project manager at TWR/JaguarSport. His candid account gives an insight into the trials and tribulations of this controversial supercar. It is well written, packed with fine photos such as crash-test shots and, most intriguingly, all manner of original charts and documents." – Classic & Sports Car
"If anyone is well-placed to tell the inside story of this great car it's Mike Moreton, who was project manager for the XJ220 at TWR/JaguarSport from day one and saw the mission through to completion." – Classic Cars
"The 160 pages gave over 200 photographs and, refreshingly, many have never been seen before. A marvellous present for the post Chrismas blues." – Jaguar World Monthly  "The meat of the book is in the way it gives a fascinating look – with interesting photos from inside the factory, engineering drawings and so forth – of all that was involved with recruiting staff, redesign, aerodynamic testing, working with outside suppliers, spec sheets, certification and crash-testing, and sales." – New Zealand Classic Car "This stunning 160-page hardcover is a Jag enthusiast's dream. A fascinating and historically accurate account of the iconic car from embryonic stages to ultimate marketing." – The Arch
