Jake's Story Volume Three: The Pot-Belly Pig Adventures
“Jake‘s Story Volume Three: The Pot-Belly Pig Adventures” is the humorous and heartwarming story of the little rescue dog Jake who grunts like a pig and his remarkable animal friends. This book is a collection of the seventh, eighth, and ninth books in "The Little Pig Dog" series combined into one volume. These three books originally entitled “Jake and the Pot-belly Bully”, “Jake’s Big Birthday Surprise”, and “Jake and Jasmine: the Little Girl Dog” are a continuing story as seen through Jake’s eyes and told from his perspective. Jake’s life is based on true events with fictional aspects added from Jake’s and the author’s imagination. This volume takes Jake from an encounter one autumn with a big bully that moves into the neighborhood, through a springtime birthday party and his first experience with puppy love, to a dangerous entrapment and rescue of his best friend. This anthology of The Little Pig Dog series combined into one volume is enjoyable reading for ages 9 and up, and is also excellent as a book of stories that can be read to children who are younger. In it they will learn of acceptance, family, courage, forgiveness, and that the Maker of us all has a purpose for each of our lives. Other than photos of Jake, all The Little Pig Dog books are non-illustrated.
