Juniorway Teacher: Shout It!
The study of this quarter is focused on the material from Acts as a narrative of the early church. Acts gives us a glimpse into the life of the community of disciples and shows how the Gospel was spread through such a community through the power of the Holy Spirit to all nations.
UNIT 1 • THE BEGINNINGS OF THE COMMUNITY: The four lessons in this unit focus on the beginnings of the Christian community as experienced by the Jerusalem church.
UNIT 2 • THE CHALLENGES OF THE COMMUNITY: The five lessons in this unit show how the church endured growing pains when different challenges presented themselves outside the boundaries of Jerusalem.
UNIT 3 • THE MISSION OF THE COMMUNITY: The four lessons in this unit focus on Paul's second missionary journey and the intentional ways that he and his companions partnered with the Holy Spirit to preach the Gospel among the Gentiles.
The Juniorway® Teacher Guide outlines practical ideas and instruction Sunday School leaders can use to engage students (ages 9–11) each week. Lesson plans include teaching instruction, commentary, and suggested timing for each lesson as well as comments and questions to help teachers motivate students to life application of Scripture.
