About the Author

Author and illustrator Warden Neil is a world-renowned Hollywood fashion and costume designer with a career of over forty years in the entertainment industry. Warden was the wardrobe designer for the seventies hit children’s show The New Zoo Review. He has also designed and wardrobed over one hundred celebrities, including Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson. Warden designed Michael Jackson’s very first military jacket, which he took as his signature solo look. Bob Hope, Lucille Ball, Carrie Underwood, and Arnold Schwarzenegger, to name a few. He was the first designer for Dancing with the Stars as well. Warden has also worked on shows like America’s Got Talent and American Gladiators and, for the past ?fteen years, has been the lead designer for the Golden Globe Awards.
Warden was born and raised in New Zealand and came to America at the age of eighteen. He wanted to share something from his homeland, so he created Kippy’s Adventures. It is a story written for children in a fun way to learn the wildlife of New Zealand. Learning the animals, birds, mammals, and original Maori race featured in this book is completely authentic.
