Her designs are contemporary classics, accessible to the average knitter, and have appeared in many yarn company publications, magazines, and pattern leaflets. When she was only five, Bonnie Franz learned to knit from her mother. After making a blanket for her doll, she dropped the needles until her college years when she re-learned the basics and went beyond. She eventually progressed through the Master level of the Knitting Guild of America program and began designing her own patterns, which have been published in many books, booklets, magazines, and newsletters. In 2002, Bonnie started a newsletter called Stranded to create a forum for colorwork discussion, history, and designs. She is the author of Double Exposure: Knit it Basic, Knit it Bold. See more of Bonnie’s designs on her website: bonniefranz.com.

Debby Ware is a graduate of The School of Visual Arts in New York City. For many years, she sold her one-of-a-kind knit goods from her businesses and home on Martha's Vineyard. When she and her husband and son moved from the ocean to the mountains of Virginia, she started designing and producing kits for Debby Ware Knitwares. Debby is the author of Too Cute!
