About The Author
T. C. Boyle is a novelist and a short story writer who has published 22 novels and short story collections and whose stories have been included in numerous anthologies and periodicals. Among his honors and awards are the 1988 PEN/Faulkner Award, the 1998 PEN/Malamud Award, and five O. Henry Awards. He is a distinguished professor of English at the University of Southern California, where he founded their creative writing program. His novels include Drop City, The Road to Wellville, Talk Talk, Tooth and Claw, and The Tortilla Curtain, and his short story collections include Descent of Man, Greasy Lake, If the River Was Whiskey, and Without a Hero. He lives near Santa Barbara, California.
