Overview

Little is written about World War II as faced by those who lived in the Dutch-held Indonesian Islands when Japan invaded. When the Allies occupied neutral Portuguese East Timor, the Governor of Macao requests the aide of the International Red Cross to correct the situation. Along with the Director, DeGroot and his co-pilot Gabbi fly from Shanghai to Manila, and eventually to East Timor. During an early morning air raid, the Japanese destroy the Goose, leaving them to attempt escape to Australia on their own?
