Leah's Return

Surrounded by strangers yet always alone, Israeli Jew Rivka Weinstein has a secret hidden in plain sight: an Auschwitz survivor’s bracelet. The Holocaust and her grandmother are ever present in her mind as she navigates life in Baltimore, Maryland as an interior decorator with cynicism and a stark defiance of Judaism. This crashes around her when a letter arrives from her cousin that holds the key to unlocking the closet incarcerating her heart. Grandma Levy knew about the child ripped from Rivka’s arms nineteen years prior and now Leah, that daughter, wants to know her real mother – and G-d. Leah’s return and a budding romance with handsome albeit religious Yosef Goldstein turn Rivka’s thoughts toward love, faith and Israel.
