“Great leaders are almost always great simplifiers, who can cut through argument, debate, and doubt to offer a solution everybody can understand.” — General Colin Powell
In this book you will read about many inspiring, and dedicated leaders working in the American educational system. Some are just starting their careers, while others have been in the trenches for many years and have lots of experience and tips to pass on to our next generation of emerging leaders. We hope by presenting each of these wonderful vignettes, it will perpetuate the kind of leadership in others that is needed in the 2lst century. Some questions that will be answered are: “How do you get everyone on the same page?” With more baby boomers staying in the workforce, millennials and gen xers coming into the workforce, how does a leader navigate the terrain to maximize the strength of all the employees? “What are some tips that can be passed on to an emerging leader?” “Is there a list of dos and don’ts?” “How can you get your team to embrace change?”
