Born in Montana, the author spent 30 years in Utah, and a few in Idaho before returning home. She has family and friends scattered out a long the way and uses the strange things she's seen to add to the many books she writes. P.S. Winn has books for preschoolers, young adults and adults and calls herself an equal opportunity writer.

If you have not had a chance to read any of Winn's books, this is a great introduction to her style of writing!

I read this book in a time of great stress ,pain,and loss.Police officers shot down after killing recorded on video of black men. So much hatred.....but I still see hope and the stories in this book gives me even more.....thank you..... I hope many more will read and realize we do have a chance
