Death by Chocolate Death Ray

1 box brownie mix, prepared according to package directions

11/2 quarts mint chocolate chip ice cream

2 cups broken mint chocolate sandwich cookies

can of whipped cream

chocolate syrup

1. Make and bake the brownies in a 13 x 9-inch baking pan as directed on the packaging. Allow to cool.

2. Remove the ice cream from the freezer and allow to soften at room temperature for 15 minutes. Spoon ice cream over brownies, spreading smooth.

3. Top with broken sandwich cookies and return to freezer for about 30 minutes or until firm. Cut into squares and serve with whipped cream drizzled with chocolate syrup.

Makes 10 servings

If your time is up, a chocolate death ray isn’t a bad way to go.
