Love You To The Woods And Back Bn
I blinked. In that moment my senses ceased to work the way they were intended. My vision took a turn through a tunnel and my hearing became muffled as if I was immersed under water. I reached for my husband's hand and held on for dear life.

For over five years, I have had a front row seat to my husband's journey with cancer. "IT" is the kind of travelling companion that hogs the window seat, eats all the snacks, insists on multiple bathroom breaks and ultimately rewrites the direction and duration of the trip. This is a glimpse into the road trip that, despite its less than appealing companion, enabled us to gather stickers for our suitcase from such stops as Humor, Random Acts of Kindness, and Hope. It helped us be "in the moment" at each stop and take back the driver's seat. While there may still be detours, we are strapped in for the long haul and the view of the endless towering trees is amazing. Look out Tear Drop Creek, and River of Sorrows, we are well on our way to living and loving each day.
