About the Author

Michael Lisin has been in the software industry for more than 17 years, with 10 of those years working with Microsoft. Most of his career, Michael has been consulting on SQL Server and business intelligence solutions for Microsoft’s enterprise customers. He has worked with SQL Server Reporting Services since the product’s first pre-beta version in 2002 and has taught Reporting Services classes and presented topics related to SQL Server at various events. Michael earned his MBA at Texas A&M University in 2006 and continues to be a dedicated scholar of Reporting Services. He is now working with business development for Microsoft.

 

Jim Joseph is an independent contractor with 10 years of experience developing custom software solutions in a variety of industries. He has worked with SQL Server Reporting Services since the first beta release in 2000. He earned his MBA from the University of St. Thomas in 2002. He has worked in a number of roles from developer to database administrator.

 

Amit Goyal is a senior lead manager for the SQL Server Reporting Services team at Microsoft. Before joining Microsoft, Amit was a director at Yahoo! and worked on development of the Panama search monetization platform. He has 14 years of industry experience at high-tech companies such as Microsoft, Yahoo!, Oracle, and Broadbase Software.He earned his bachelor of science degree from UIUC (University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign) and master’s degree from Stanford University.
