About the Author

N.C. Childrose was born in Upstate New York. As a little girl, she loved to read piles of books with her mom. She graduated summa cum laude from The College of Saint Rose with a history degree and a master’s degree in education. From there, she worked full time while pursuing her doctorate degree. Today, she has a wonderful career as a community college history professor.

In pursuing her lifelong passion as a farm animal advocate and farmer herself, she has saved the lives of countless animals and provided them sanctuary on her family farm and found loving homes for many others. She currently lives in rural New York with her husband who is a farrier and all of their farm family friends who serve as inspiration for the stories she writes.
