Overview

Loosely based on Shakespeare’s comedy, “Much Ado About Nothing,” this medieval romance pits the mischievous twins, Melisande and Jasper, against the too-sober Lady Halys and Simon, the baron of Lyonne. One well-meant lie leads to complications that threaten to destroy the new-found affection between Halys and Simon. The result is a merry mix-up that requires Simon’s common sense to resolve.
