About the Author

Kristin Walker holds a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's degree in Reading. She has worked in the public school system as a teacher for 20 years. Her passion for teaching led her to tutoring in an after-school setting, from home. This eventually led to opening a pre-school in Brooklyn, N.Y., which is still in operation today.
