About the Author

Jung Mi-kyung is one of the most distinguished writers of modern Korean literature. She attended Ewha Womans University, and was the recipient of the prestigious Yi Sang Literary Award in 2006. She is the author of the novel The Strange Sorrow of Wonderland.

Yu Young-nan lives in Seoul. She has translated numerous Korean novels into English, including Park Wan-suh’s Who Ate Up All the Shinga? (2009, Columbia University Press, translated with Stephen Epstein) and Yom Sang-seop’s Three Generations.
