This story is not my typical read, but it was interesting from the first scene. The author knows how to capture a readers attention and while it wasn't my usual genre, it kept me reading:)

, there follows a conflict which his friend Zeke resolves. Pam has a vivid imagination, and her story gave me goosebumps at times. It's made me look at life and death in a completely way. This story succeeds, and I can imagine it would make a great film. I will certainly read more by this author.

I must confess I haven't read many books of this genre, although I have seen several films that were exciting and scary. This book gave me the same sort of feeling as the films. Joshua's near fatal car crash causes him to come into contact with the tunnel, that connects life and death. Joshua's relationship with Cathy and her friend Zeke is at the heart of the book, and when Cathy suspects a patient at the facility where she works, has a dead daughter who has also connected with the tunnel,
