About the Author

Agatha Rae (Joanna Bogusławska) is an author and a college teacher from Gdynia, Poland. She has published a book for the teachers of English "Teaching English Through Culture, Teaching Culture Through English" (co-written with Agata Mioduszewska) as well as an anthology of essays analyzing popular culture "Popkultura - pop czy kultura?" (Eng. "Popular culture - pop or culture?"). Her articles written both in English and Polish have been published in magazines Forum For The World Literature Studies, The Teacher, Kino, Top Guitar and Perkusista, she also collaborated with http://www.stephen-moyer.net website, published a dozen of film reviews there and she runs a blog on one of Poland's biggest opinion-forming portals www.natemat.pl. She is a PhD student at the University of Gdansk. Among her favorite authors are Stephen King, Billy Bryson, Tennessee Williams, The Beat Generation authors and Charles Bukowski.
