Mary A. Bacy was born in Sacramento, California. Her inspiration to write is her life. She describes the events in her life and the emotions they inspire after each important moment in her life, into poetry. Mrs. Bacy began writing in her childhood and has continued to do so ever since.

Although poetry is her main passion, Mrs. Bacy also enjoys working with other mediums. When she is not writing, Mrs. Bacy takes pleasure in travelling and has seen a great deal of the United States.

Mrs. Bacy considers herself highly in-tune with the hardships of others; she can pick up on these painful sentiments and hopes that she can touch the wounded hearts of many with her poetry.
