We all know that God answers our prayers if we pray in line with His will for us and we all know that He sometimes works in very strange ways when He does answer those prayers. This little book is a story I want to share with you of a prayer that was answered in a most frightening way and which has become the source of deep inner healing and great joy.
A terrifying unprovoked road rage attack on me one sunny winter's evening as I drove home from my office has become one of the most beautiful and most healing gifts I have ever been given. A gift that released me from deep rooted childhood hurt and pain and set me free from the suffering prison that I had spent so much of my life in.
In fact the change in me has been so powerful and so dramatic that I feel as though I have been reborn as a new person into a new life. Which feels very special but a bit odd as I am having to get to know myself all over again.
Positive Suffering is taking hold of your negative suffering and turning it to your positive advantage, healing and growth both as a person and spiritually. I hope that this story will encourage and bless you.
Fear is an emotion that we are all familiar with and one that can hold us back in our spiritual journey as we walk that sometimes hard road towards the destiny that God has planned for us.
As always the bible has the answer to how we can overcome our times of fear and by taking 1 John 4:18 “Perfect love casts out fear” and applying it to the Dambusters raid by the British Royal Air Force in May 1943 we can find an inspirational answer to that question.
And with the rise of Islamic Jihadism and the very great threat that it makes to this world we also take a look at how we children of God should behave towards Muslim people.
Positive Suffering (Love Liberates) ends with an open letter to the man who attacked me.
