Precious Privilege
"So let us boldly approach the throne of grace. Then we will receive mercy.
We will find grace to help us when we need it." (Hebrews 4:16) NIrV

About the Author

Kay Hilliard accepted Christ as her Savior when she was twenty-one years old and has been involved in ministry, through the local church, all of her adult life. Kay is a passionate Bible student and teacher. In years past, she has written Sunday School lessons for deaf adults through the Mississippi Baptist Sunday School Board in the Family Life Series and

a ladies' Bible Study entitled Lasting Beauty which was sold through Let's Sign of Brandon, Mississippi.

Kay holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, from Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi and a membership, as needed, with the Mississippi Registered Interpreters for the Deaf (MRID) as a State Board screened interpreter. Kay served as a Sunday School teacher and interpreter of deaf adults for over thirty years and as a teacher of adult ladies' Sunday School for the last nine.

Kay's great desire is that one day readers of Basic English will be able to purchase a wide range of easy-to-read material to aid in their study of God's Word. Her prayer is that God will use her in this way to help others gain a deeper, more meaningful spiritual life and be led to the Word of God, which Kay says, "are the words that really matter."

Kay and her husband reside in Greenville, Mississippi, where they are active members of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Kay's two daughters, son-in-law and five grandchildren are the joy of her life!
