About the Author

Sahara Rosen, a multi cultural and cross-industry professional in the field of Competitive Intelligence, has led a successful career of 26 years assisting companies and organizations to expand internationally. Using tools and training methods that are value based, Rosen makes an impact on individuals: providing a space to increase performance improvement, understand themselves better, seeing their special gifts, leading happier & more fulfilling lives, succeeding in the business world, and gains within their own personal relationships with others.
Rosen completed her undergraduate work at Kean State University in 1988 with a Bachelor´s Degree in Political Science. Representing her University, Rosen was awarded the title of National Student Affairs Director, lobbying for students rights in Washington D.C. After university, Rosen moved to Paris, where she completed two Masters Degrees: International Relations & Diplomacy and Economics & Social Studies.
She has been a mentor/coach to business executives and government officials across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and The United States. Fluent in French, Spanish, Portuguese and working knowledge of Arabic; Rosen always made a preference to working in developing and post war countries. The impact of her skill sets upon governments, businesses and individuals has made a lasting contribution to society and their progress at large.
Sahara began her career in Europe assisting a private investment firm in opening up their companies across Europe. She continued to coach individuals and strengthen post war communities in rebuilding their lives and business opportunities in countries such as Lebanon.
Sahara worked on a Peace Corps program within The Association of Parents of The Handicapped on the island of Barbados. She realized that her contribution to making a sustainable difference was not by playing with the children; but rather by mentoring the leadership of the organization, strengthening their image on the island, and seeking out opportunities for the older orphans to move out of the orphanage thus being able to live on their own and make a living.
After 13 years in Europe and the Middle East, Rosen returned to the United States to assist one of the top consulting firms in their strategic break up of their accounting and consulting sides of the business working together. Rosen spent a few years working in the Office of the Chairman using Mergers & Acquisitions as a tool of learning, mentoring within the firm, in aid to gain new clients. Her expertise in Competitive Intelligence, a specialist in human profiling, contributed to the ongoing success of what was then called Deloitte & Touche.
In 2001, Rosen moved to Mozambique and worked to deliver inspirational mentoring leadership through her company; The Mozambique Coaching Center. She has spent the past 11 years helping governments, organizations and businesses grow in a part of the world that is known as third world and poverty stricken.
As for hobbies, she enjoys wild life safari photography, kayaking and riding wild horses in the bush, beaches and mountains across the world.
