Overview

Anna and Lawrence met in high school at a football game. It was ultimately love at first sight. Lawrence was two years older so he waited for Anna to graduate. They were nearly inseparable during this time. After Anna finally graduated from high school, they married. Working and college found them moving in different directions. During a trial separation, Anna found out that she was pregnant. They reunited, thinking the baby would make the difference and renew their love. Anna gave birth to identical twin girls, Pepper and Remie. After three months of trying to make the marriage work to no avail, Lawrence took one of the twins and disappeared.
Throughout life, Anna would never forget the baby girl that had been taken from her. Watch the lives of the four main characters going down totally different paths. Will Anna ever be able to find her other baby girl again? Is she still alive? Will she want to be found? Why can’t they seem to find any information about her? Is there any hope?
This is a story of living through hardship, success, tragedy, death, betrayal, fear, withdrawal, love and hope.

About the Author

I was born an Army brat in Alabama. After my father retired from the military, we moved to Minnesota where I lived until after college. Getting away from home to go to college meant driving across the Red River (5 miles) to North Dakota State University for a major in Psychology. My oldest brother introduced me to my best friend and fantastic husband while I was still in high school. He was already attending NDSU for his third degree. Needless to say, we are very strong alumni supporters to that university. GO BISON!
My husband and I knew each other for nine years before we married. He was already in the army when we married, so we moved quite often. I am militarily oriented through and through. Like I said, my father was in the army when I was born and then switched over to the National Guard. Both my brothers went into the military, one into the Army the other into the Air Force. Plus both of our sons went into the Army. Our daughter is the only one that did not decided to go into the military even though when she was about seven years old she said was going to be a Marine. She’s a medium height, slender, blonde, not your normal Marine. Within the following year, she changed her mind. Now, the profession that she has chosen and how she works, proves she would have made a wonderful Marine.
We are now retired and living in Tucson, Arizona. Yes, it is a dry heat and that makes all the difference in the world no matter how many jokes there are about it. Through our travels, we’ve been able to extensively tour all fifty of the beautiful United States, several Canadian provinces, many Mexican cities and several of the Caribbean Islands. Our bucket list is still so long and growing by the day, we’ll have to live until we’re three hundred in order to cross everything off our list.
One item that was on my bucket list was to write a book. I seem to inhale any genre of books available and wanted to try my hand at writing my own. I have two non-fiction books already published under a pseudonym. They have both done very well.
