About the Author

Donald Peck toured the world with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, played
under four music directors, and made 300 recordings. Principal Flute Emeritus of the
Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Peck is an orchestral soloist and noted recitalist and
is currently on the faculty of Roosevelt University in Chicago. He lives in Chicago,
Illinois.
