About the Author

Robert van der Hilst graduated from the Hague School of Photography in the late 1950's, and has been traveling throughout Asia, Europe, North Africa, Latin America, Canada, and the Middle East, working as a photographer. He has exhibited his work widely in Europe, Asia, North America, and has been published in VOGUE, STERN, GEO, MARIE CLAIRE, ELLE, PARIS MATCH, SUNDAY TIMES MAGAZINE, MERIAN, and Figaro Magazine.
