About the Author

Richard Crane was Resident Dramatist at the National Theatre, Literary Manager at the Royal Court and Fellow in Theatre, Bradford University. Plays and musicals include The Possessed with Yuri Lyubimov (Almeida London, Odeon Paris), Mutiny! with David Essex (Piccadilly Theatre), Bloody Neighbours (National Theatre), Envy with Donald Swann (Edinburgh Festival), Under the Stars (Greenwich Theatre) and The Quiz (Trafalgar Studios). His multi-award-winning plays have been translated into many languages, and performed worldwide. He writes also for film, TV and radio.
