About the Author

Christy Wrenn is an Administrative Academic Librarian with the title of Director of Library Services at the John F. Magale Memorial Library on the campus of Centenary College of Louisiana. She has been a professional librarian for almost 40 years working with Louisiana Interlibrary Loan Systems, the Shreveport Times Newspaper Library, creating church libraries, and into academic librarian life.


Her activity in the academic library field within her state of Louisiana led her to co-author an article on Academic Integrity and Information Literacy published in the e-journal CODEX in 2012. She has written numerous book reviews on Louisiana authors and their books for the Louisiana Library Association Bulletin. Christy has spent the last three years teaching herself to draw, which inspired her to write and illustrate her latest project of a children's book entitled Rylan and Burt, inspired by her grandson.
