He and his friends already have found the fang of Count Negatov; now they must uncover the blood of witch Nelly Twist before the evil Sir Otto does. Donbavand has created a fantastical, Tim Burton-worthy world peopled with engaging characters and deliciously evil villains. As with Fang of the Vampire, this book is at times a bit graphic and mature—including talk of inebriated zombies "wasted" on brain shakes—but its young, fresh humor balances out otherwise scary and adult material.
