Scripto sopra Theseu Re: Il commento salentino al #x000AB;Teseida#x000BB; di Boccaccio (Ugento/Nard#x000F2;, ante 1487)

Scripto sopra Theseu Re is an anonymous commentary on Boccaccio’s epic poem Teseida, preserved in a 15th-century manuscript written in old Salentino dialect. Unedited to date and barely known even by Boccaccio experts, the commentary is one of the most extensive and significant texts written in the southern part of medieval Italy. The two volumes offer the first critical edition of the commentary as well as analyses of its sources and language.
