About the Author

Inis Lovely: I have been buying and selling vintiques professionally for more than 9 years. Unprofessionally, for more than 20 years. Let me explain. As a single mom years ago, I furnished and decorated my home with vintage finds. Then, friends started asking if they could buy the things I had found, or if I would find similar things for them. I did as they asked, and made some much needed extra cash.
Professionally, I started small with just a case selling vintage jewelry and growing to eventually have a large booth inside American Classics Antique Mall in Colorado Springs. Sadly, due to mobility and health issues, I closed my booth in early 2009. Boy, do I miss it! Visit me at my personal blog, alovelything.com, where I talk about everything under the sun. And drop by sellinginanantiquemall.blogspot.com, the Internet home of this book where Sue and I will be offering more of our experiences in the business.

Sue LaLumia: I’ve been selling vintage items for over 6 years – first at local flea markets and now in antique malls for the last 4 years. As the child of a curbside-picking mom, I was mortified, and vowed I’d NEVER do that. In college, I discovered thrift stores and it’s been downhill since.
As proprietor of Vintage Resuce Squad, I currently have 2 booths in the Leesburg Antique Emporium in Leesburg, Virginia, and sell each May at the Art & Soul retreat in Hampton Roads, Virginia. I specialize in ‘30s-’40s home decor, shabby chic, and mantiques. My current obsessions are vintage cameras and typewriters. I’ve vowed never to buy another armoire. The alleged etsy shop will open soon. Follow my junking adventures at vintagerescue.typepad.com
