About the Author

Mary Lukes Stamoulis received her BA degree in literature from Edison College, Trenton, New Jersey in her later years. She has written a book of poetry and four novels, including Shadow War in Crete and is current negotiating for publication of her other novels. She has been a court approved interpreter for the courts of New Jersey in Greek English translations for over 25 years.

Mary was born in Mobile, Alabama but left at three years of age with her mother and brother. She spent four years in Greece on the island of Ikaria with her grandparents, with she never forgot. She is an active church member in the Greek Orthodx Church in Holmdel, and was one of its original founders. She is the mother of three children and four grandchildren.
