17 sts and 27 rows = 4 inches/10cm in St st (blocked).
To save time, take time to check gauge.
Special Abbreviation
Make 1 Purlwise (M1-p): Insert LH needle from front to back under horizontal strand between last st worked and next st on LH needle; purl through back of resulting loop.
Pattern Stitch
Seed St (even number of sts)
Row 1: *K1, p1; rep from * to end.

Finishing
Weave in all ends.
Block pieces to measurements.
Sew right shoulder seam.
Neck Edging
With RS facing and using B, pick up and knit 74 (78, 78, 78, 82, 82) sts across neck edge [39 (39, 39, 39, 41, 41) sts each side].
Knit 1 WS row, then purl 1 RS row.
Loosely bind off all sts kwise.
Sew left shoulder seam.
Sew side seams, leaving 6 ½ (6 ½, 7 ½, 7 ½, 8, 8) inches at bottom unsewn for side vents.
Weave in all ends.
