About the Author

Doug grew up in Surrey, B.C. and he joined the Canadian military at 18. Doug served as a communication researcher, radio operator and paratrooper. He served with the U.N. Protection Force in Croatia in 1993 and later earned a Bachelor of Science. He is the author of Stomach Flattening, Reduce Your Alcohol Craving, How to Handle Your Alcohol Better, One Less Victim and Selo. Doug has run five complete marathons, climbed Mt. Rainier (age 47)and won a welter weight kick-boxing championship (age 40). He has been a guest on CKNW and CBC radio. He lives in Vancouver, Canada training clients and assisting former soldiers with PTSD.
