Martha Jo Raney-Cummins is a psychologist and licensed counselor. She is also the author (Dr. M.J. Raney) of the novel, Encryption. She has a BS degree in Business Administration, an MA in Guidance and Counseling, an MS in Psychology, and is ABDPHD in Psychology. She also holds an honorary PHD. Her bio was featured in Notable Women of Texas. She and her husband are the proud parents of two daughters and five grandchildren and have residences on both the East and West coast. They can often be seen lounging aboard their beloved yacht, The
Admiral. Her extensive travels have taken her around the world, including a two-year stay in Saudia Arabia. She is the President of CHILD, a not for profit organization that gives aid to homeless women and children. All the proceeds from both her novels are being donated to this charity.
