About the Author


Katherine Brumage is a burgeoning enthusiast of all things Yosemite. She holds a B.A. from the University of Washington and an M.A. from the University of Chicago, both in English literature. She is currently the Program Director at Public Service Fellowships of the Bay Area. Doug Hansen has been a Fresno-based artist and illustrator for over thirty years. He is an associate professor in the Department of Art and Design at California State University Fresno and recognized locally for his 23 years of illustration work at The Fresno Bee newspaper.
