SURVIVING THE SCHOOL YEAR WITH DR. SHERRI - Some important little things you may not have thought of, that can make or break your child's school day and homework
Whether you use homeschool, private school or public school for your child, these important little things you may not have thought of, can make or break your child's school day and homework, and mean the world to your peace of mind as a parent.

What does surviving the school year mean to you? Homework and academic problems? Behavior and notes home from the teacher? The homework dance in which parents try to get the child to start and the child just won't? Endless homework? Parents sometimes feel lost because they cannot always motivate their child to be independent and take things on. The truth is that parents have more influence than they think, and by using some of the things I will mention in my ebook, they might be able to make a big difference with some small changes.

As an expert in training and building processing and sensory skills, and behavior prevention from home via webcam without medication, and with years of training as a Child Psychologist, I have helped many families change some daily habits, and from that, they have seen some big differences in their children. Many times making the difference between surviving and thriving.

About the Author

Dr. Sherri Singer, Psy.D. is a natural, webcam based attention, behavior, processing and learning expert for 28 years. Using her virtual office, she prides herself on a rather unique, natural approach that includes evaluating the habits in her client's lives around processing, including: diet, sleep, exercise, processing skills, family life and fun as she believes all of those matter in helping a child get to happiness and success.

Her non-medication approach includes at home exercise training of sensory processing skills to give the kids who work with her a faster and more competent edge with learning. Training multi tasking, auditory and visual memory, processing speed, and distraction/frustration tolerance for decades, she has seen how training these skills can make a big difference.

No stranger to writing, through her Lakeland Newspaper advice column which lasted from 1994 to 2005, she reached more than 100,000 people per week, and with her down to earth conversational style of writing that made people feel like she was talking directly to them, she interacted with many of them on a regular basis. At the same time, she did articles for Chicago Tribune, Chicago Parent and Suburban Parent Magazine. Since that time, she has written for Ezine, Trib Local, The Patch and on her own blog about many topics pertinent to parents and kids.

She uses a powerful formula via webcam using simple processing based exercises and parent education to prevent behavioral issues and super charge her client's processing abilities. She is excited about the ability to use the webcam venue for her consultations, as it saves people time and gas and makes talking in person very easy, convenient and fun. She has been quoted as saying she feels like Captain Kirk from Star Trek and the kids love it as it feels like science fiction but a lot more fun!

Dr. Sherri is also a mom of 3 amazing kids! In her personal time, she spends as much time with her family as possible. Their favorite place in the world is Walt Disney World!
