3 V-sts and 3 puff sts = 4 inches; 7 rows = 4 inches
SPECIAL STITCHES
V-stitch (V-st): (Dc, ch 1, dc) in indicated st or sp.
Puff st: [Yo, insert hook in indicated st, yo, draw up lp] 3 times, yo, draw through all 7 lps on hook, ch 1 to close.
Picot: (Ch 3, sl st) in st indicated.
PATTERN NOTE
Chain-3 at beginning of row counts as first double crochet unless otherwise stated.
BLANKET
Row 1: Ch 143, sk first 3 chs (counts as first dc),V-st(see Special Stitches) in next ch, *skip next 2 chs, puff st(see Special Stitches) in next ch, sk next 2 chs, V-st in next ch*, rep from * to * across to last ch, dc in last ch, turn.
Row 2: Ch 3(see Pattern Note), puff st in ch-1 sp of next V-st, *V-st in top of next puff st, puff st in ch-1 sp of next V-st*, rep from * to * across, dc in 3rd ch of beg ch-3, turn. (23 puff sts, 24 V-sts)
