What Is the Jin Dan?

Jin Dan is a golden light ball located in one’s lower abdomen, just below the navel and in the center of the body. No one is born with a Jin Dan. Special Tao practice is required to create a Jin Dan.

The Power and Significance of the Jin Dan

Jin Dan has the following powers and abilities:

  • Jin Dan is the source of message, energy, and matter.

  • Jin Dan has the highest power for healing your spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical bodies.

  • Jin Dan is the key to preventing sickness in your spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical bodies.

  • Jin Dan is the highest treasure for purifying your soul, heart, mind, and body.

  • Jin Dan has the highest abilities for rejuvenating your soul, heart, mind, and body.

  • Jin Dan has the highest strength for transforming all of your relationships.

  • Jin Dan has the highest potential for transforming your business.

  • Jin Dan has the highest honor for enlightening your soul, heart, mind, and body.

  • Jin Dan has the highest power and abilities for healing, blessing, and transforming others.

  • Jin Dan has the highest power and abilities for offering service to humanity, Mother Earth, and all universes.

How to Build a Jin Dan

We will apply the Four Power Techniques, which are Body Power, Soul Power, Mind Power, and Sound Power. Let me summarize the key wisdom of the Four Power Techniques:

Body Power is special body positions and hand positions for healing and rejuvenation.

Soul Power is to say hello to the inner souls of your body, including the souls of your systems, organs, cells, cell units, DNA and RNA, as well as to outer souls, including saints, healing angels, archangels, ascended masters, lamas, gurus, all kinds of spiritual fathers and mothers, the Divine, and Tao, to invoke their power for healing, rejuvenation, and life transformation.

Mind Power is creative visualization. The most important wisdom is to visualize golden or rainbow light to transform your health, relationships, finances, and more.

Sound Power is to chant or sing ancient healing mantras, Divine Soul Songs, and Tao songs for healing, rejuvenation, and transformation of relationships, finances, and every aspect of life.

Here is one basic practice that I shared in Tao I. A detailed explanation follows the practice itself. Later in this book, I will introduce new sacred practices to build a Jin Dan.

Use the Four Power Techniques with a secret and sacred mantra:

Body Power. Sit up straight. Put the tip of your tongue as close as you can to the roof of your mouth without touching. Put both palms on your lower abdomen below the navel.

Soul Power. Say hello:

Dear soul mind body of Tao,

Dear soul mind body of the Divine,

Dear soul mind body of all universes, galaxies, stars, and planets,

Dear soul mind body of Heaven,

Dear soul mind body of Mother Earth,

Dear soul mind body of all my spiritual fathers and mothers in all layers of Heaven,

Dear soul mind body of all my systems, organs, cells, cell units, DNA, RNA, tiny matter in the cells, and spaces between the cells,

I love you all, honor you all, and appreciate you all.

You have the power to create and form my Jin Dan.

I am extremely blessed.

I cannot honor you enough.

Thank you.

Mind Power. Visualize a beautiful, bright, and powerful golden light ball forming in your lower abdomen, just below your navel.

Sound Power. Sing or chant in Chinese:

Chant or sing for at least fifteen minutes. It is best to chant or sing for thirty minutes to one hour. Building a Jin Dan takes time and effort. The more you chant or sing, the more quickly you will build your Jin Dan.

Let me explain each line of the seven-line mantra used as the Sound Power in this practice to build a Jin Dan.

TAO SHENG YI

Tao is The Way, the source of all universes. Tao is the creator. “Sheng” means creates. “Yi” means one. “Tao sheng yi” means Tao creates One.

TIAN YI ZHEN SHUI

“Tian” means Heaven. “Yi” means one or unique. “Zhen” means true or sacred. “Shui” means liquid or water. “Tian yi zhen shui” means Heaven’s unique sacred liquid. Heaven’s sacred liquid gathers the message, energy, and matter of Heaven. Tian yi zhen shui falls down from Heaven through the crown chakra (just above the top of the head), and then goes through the brain and the palate into the mouth.

JIN JIN YU YE

The first “Jin” means gold. The second “jin” means liquid. “Yu” means jade. “Ye” means liquid. “Jin jin yu ye” means gold liquid, jade liquid. Gold and jade express the preciousness of this liquid. Jin Jin and Yu Ye are also the names of two acupuncture points that are located under the tongue. Jin jin yu ye is Mother Earth’s sacred liquid. It gathers the message, energy, and matter of Mother Earth. Jin jin yu ye comes in through the Yong Quan (Kidney 1) acupuncture points, which are located on the soles of the feet between the second and third metatarsal bones, one-third of the distance from the webs of the toes to the heel. It then goes up through the center of the legs to the Hui Yin acupuncture point in the perineum (between the genitals and the anus), and then up through the first five soul houses (the seven soul houses correspond closely to the seven chakras) in the center of the body. From the fifth soul house in the throat, it moves to the Jin Jin and Yu Ye acupuncture points under the tongue, from which it then flows out into the mouth.

YAN RU DAN TIAN

“Yan” means swallow. “Ru” means into. “Dan” means light ball. “Tian” means field. This Dan Tian refers to the Lower Dan Tian, which is one of the most important energy centers in the body. Jin Dan is located slightly above the Lower Dan Tian.

SHEN QI JING HE YI

“Shen” means all of one’s souls, including one’s body soul, system souls, organ souls, cell souls, cell unit souls, DNA and RNA souls, tiny matter souls, and space souls. “Qi” means all of one’s energies, including the energies of the body, systems, organs, cells, cell units, DNA and RNA, tiny matter, and spaces. “Jing” means all matter in one’s body. “He” means join as. “Yi” means one. “Shen qi jing he yi” means all souls, energies, and matter join as one. They all join as one in the Jin Dan.

TIAN DI REN HE YI

“Tian” means Heaven. “Di” means Earth. “Ren” means human being. “He” means join as. “Yi” means one. “Tian di ren he yi” means Heaven, Mother Earth, and human being join as one. They all join as one in the Jin Dan.

JIN DAN LIAN CHENG

“Jin” means gold. “Dan” means light ball. “Lian” means cook. “Cheng” means done. “Jin dan lian cheng” means golden light ball is formed.

Let me summarize the essence of the meaning and significance of each line in this sacred mantra:

Tao Sheng Yi. Tao creates One. One includes all universes, galaxies, stars, and planets. Chanting Tao sheng yi gathers message, energy, and matter from Tao and from all universes.

Tian Yi Zhen Shui. Chanting this line gathers Heaven’s unique sacred liquid, which gathers the message, energy, and matter of Heaven.

Jin Jin Yu Ye. Chanting this line gathers Mother Earth’s sacred liquid, which gathers the message, energy, and matter of Mother Earth.

Yan Ru Dan Tian. The message, energy, and matter from Tao and from all universes, are gathered in the mouth with Heaven’s unique sacred liquid and Mother Earth’s sacred liquid, and then swallowed into the Lower Dan Tian to form the Jin Dan. From the Lower Dan Tian, it is formed and moves up a little to the location of the Jin Dan.

Shen Qi Jing He Yi. All the souls, energies, and matter of the whole body join as one in the Jin Dan.

Tian Di Ren He Yi. All the essence of Heaven, Mother Earth, and human beings join as one in the Jin Dan.

Jin Dan Lian Cheng. From Tao sheng yi, tian yi zhen shui, jin jin yu ye, yan ru dan tian, shen qi jing he yi, and tian di ren he yi, the Jin Dan is formed.

This is the simplest way to form a Jin Dan: by gathering message, energy, and matter from Tao, the Divine, all universes, all galaxies, all stars, all planets, all layers of Heaven, Mother Earth, the human realm, and from your own soul, mind, and body.

For a new but dedicated practitioner who practices for one hour each day, it generally takes about four hundred hours to build a Jin Dan. It would take such a practitioner more than one year to build a Jin Dan through dedicated daily hour-long practice. Someone who practices two hours per day could form a Jin Dan in about two hundred days.

The Divine and Tao are guiding me at this moment that this sacred divine and Tao teaching could help you build your Jin Dan eight to ten times faster than traditional ways. The traditional ways and practices could even take decades.

Developing a Jin Dan is a “must” step for a Tao practitioner. In one sentence:

Jin Dan can bring you to Tao.
