Michael Andreas Jacobi is a manager at a pet wholesale company and has kept and bred tarantulas, reptiles, and other terrarium pets for over 35 years. He operates the tarantulas.com website, is the North American Representative of the British Tarantula Society, and has lectured at ArachnoCon and American Tarantula Society conferences. He is the creator of Arachnoculture magazine and e-zine and of the online resource The Tarantula Bibliography. Originally from the Chicago area, Michael now lives north of Seattle, Washington, with his dog Taylor.
