About the Author

Author Kathy Glover is a retired YMCA executive. She worked for over 20 years designing and implementing programming for school aged children. The co-author of 2 program manuals geared for school aged children in camping and afterschool programming, Kathy brings her years of working with children as well as her experiences with her own 3 children and 4 grandchildren to her delightful stories of Poko and her adventures.

A graduate of the Los Angeles Art Institute and a lifetime of creating beautiful art have made illustrator Rachelle Houchin the perfect artist for this project. The amazing detail and vivid colors of the illustrations will wow the reader. Rachelle's ability to take Kathy's words and represent them visually in such incredible beauty and detail make The Adventures of Poko not only a great picture story book, but a collectable edition of amazing artwork.

The BEAUTIFUL illustrations and lovely story kept me wanting to turn the pages for more. Although this might be considered a children's book, as an adult, I very much enjoyed the detail of the illustrations and the message of the story. I recommend this beautiful book for all ages!
